
The Association supports the professional and commercial development of its members by offering a range of business services including: networking and knowledge sharing events, cutting-edge research and industry research and analysis updates on the recent political and legal instruments and business support specialist legal advice.
On a broader scale, the UK DMA works to maintain self-regulation within the industry by developing industry standards of best professional practice, engage with government policies and other legislative issues affecting the industry , and the production of industry standards that guide the sustainable development of direct marketing. The DMA also provides thought leadership to industry, and raises its profile through an active program of public relations and the ongoing efforts of the community.
All DMA's activities are aimed at generating political faith, trade and consumption in the value of direct marketing.
